This week in lab, we learned about pollination. Although our plant grew a lot from the week before, we did not get the chance to pollinate. We are hoping by next lab, we will be able to pollinate our plant. I also got to learn more about biomes and sea turtles. I learned about a sea turtles life cycle and things that can harm the life span of a turtle. We got to listen to a book about sea turtles and then played a turtle game with a fortune teller.

How can I use this in my future classroom?

The seat turtle book and the fortune teller activity is a fun lesson for students, especially those of a younger age. It helps students understand what can harm or help a turtle.

Remaining questions?

Are (positive) human interactions with ecosystems harmful?

  1. Hi Annette! I agree with you that the sea turtle game and book would be a really fun activity to do with students! It works well for students to learn about what harms and helps turtles which could further their questioning to what affects other animals or ecosystems.
