This week in class we learned about the different biomes. In class we checked our plant progress and then we got into groups to work together to research on a biome. Our plant has not grown a lot, and we are hoping by next week we can see some major growth.
Our biome was the forest. I was able to relate this to my prior knowledge from elementary school. I remember learning about this in my science classes and doing a big poster board to teach the rest of my classmates. I can use this in my future classroom by also assigning biomes to students so they can all learn from each other. Hands on and projects are exciting and make learning fun.
