Week 12

 This week we learned about the properties of objects. We used many different items including chalk, erasers, marbles, crayons and much more. We were trying to determine which items would float, sink, their mass and volume, and their ability to conduct electricity. Even though I knew much of what would happen with each object due to prior knowledge, it was fun conducting this experiment. Hands on learning is fun and allows us to learn without realizing it. I plan on using many hands on activities in my classroom because young students enjoy learning with them. These would be fun for students and for the teacher to observe.
