This week in lab we worked with our table group to work on different experiments. Our group chose to determine if "The steeper the slide, the fast it goes?" We did this by doing several different trials and rolling a marble down a ruler. We measured meters and used two different stop watches to calculate the average time so we were not just going off one time. We also graphed our results. In conclusion, our experiment was that the steeper the slide, the faster one goes down it. Although keep in mind, it also depends on the fabric being worn and the condition of the slide as well. In lecture on Thursday, we discussed more of our observations in lab on Monday, but also got into the topics of gravity, force, and friction.
